TCEB visits the Czech Convention Bureau and Prague Congress Centre.

August 20, 2014 - Sarita Chintakanond, Director of Information Technology, Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), accompanied by Jiraporn Jiranantakij, First Secretary of the Royal Thai Embassy in Prague, was honorably invited to meet with the Czech Convention Bureau (CzCB) in Prague, Czech Republic and was warmly welcomed by Mr. Zdenek Giormani, Director of the Czech Convention Bureau and Mr. Petr Kuklík, Manager of Czech Convention Bureau. The aim of this visit is to exchange market insights of both the South East Asian and Eastern European regions and best practices.

Later in the day, Director Sarita visited Prague Congress Centre (PCC), the largest business events centre in Czech Republic.

TCEB was welcomed by Mr. Tom Lawrence-Jones, Communication Manager of PCC who presented the venue’s readiness and capacity for hosting business events in Prague. TCEB inspected the Congress Centre exquisite services and its state-of-the-art facilities which can accommodate an event of any size.

With these two visits, TCEB hopes to build a strong relationship with the Czech Convention Bureau and observes the city’s venue facilities and their operation in order to adapt best practices that will benefit Thailand’s MICE industry and strengthen Thailand’s image as a premier business events destination.
