Thailand Rice Fest 2023

A celebration of new rice and innovative rice products. This festival aims to help everyone understand the value hidden in every grain of rice. While Thailand Coffee Fest has seen significant growth, we want to push other industries forward too. It would be fantastic if this became the roots of our nation and were closely connected to everyone, just like ‘rice’.

Rice is a big deal, close to the hearts of Thai people. Yet, we often only see the tip of the iceberg. We, the folks at The Cloud, invite the Rice Department, Thai Rice Foundation, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Department of Intellectual Property, Department of International Trade Promotion, Kasetsart University, Tourism Authority of Thailand, Thailand Science Research and Innovation, food4change, Thaiisanfarmers, and more than 15 other organizations to join hands in creating the ‘Thailand Rice Fest : A Celebration of New Rice and Innovative Rice Products’.

The event consists of 5 zones, taking you on a journey to learn and add value to the rice we consume daily through real experiences of ‘Tasting Rice, Eating Rice, Buying Rice, Appreciating Rice, and Cooking. We will also introduce you to the key characters in the rice universe, including farmers, sellers, and cooks, as well as important organizations.
