Travel Advisory: COVID-19 virus on 4 April 2020
Temporary Ban of International Incoming Passenger Flights to Thailand
To prevent the spread of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) has issued the following orders.
1. A temporary ban of all passenger flights coming to Thailand effective from 4 April 2020 at 00:01 hrs. to 6 April 2020 at 23:59 hrs. The exemption is, however, for the followings:
1.1) State or Military Aircraft
1.2) Emergency Landing
1.3) Technical Landing (without any passengers leaving the aircraft)
1.4) Humanitarian Aid, Medical and Relief Flights for Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19)
1.5) Repatriation Flights
1.6) Cargo Aircraft
Passengers embarking on any aircrafts and leaving the origin airports before this order has been announced must be quarantined for 14 days as prescribed by the regulations issued under Section 9 of the Emergency Decree on Public Administration in Emergency Situations B.E. 2548 (2005).

2. The operation of Phuket International Airport will be suspended from 10 April 2020 at 00:01 hrs. to 30 April 2020 at 23:59 hrs. or until further notice. The exemption is the same as No.1. All flight operators and passengers must follow the regulations issued under Section 9 of the Emergency Decree on Public Administration in Emergency Situations B.E. 2548 (2005) and the directions issued by the local government of Phuket.
