Travel Advisory: COVID-19 virus on 7 April 2020
Temporary Ban of International Incoming Passenger Flights to Thailand (No.2)
The ban will be applied until April 18.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand has issued a notification extending temporary ban on international incoming passenger flights to Thailand. The earlier flight ban was for April 4-6 and is now extended until April 18.
1) The extension will start from 6 April 2020 at 17.00 UTC to 18 April 2020 at 17.00 UTC. In this connection, all flight permits previously granted for such period will be canceled.
2) The ban does not apply to state or military aircraft, emergency landing, technical landing without disembarkation, humanitarian, medical and relief flights, repatriation flights and cargo flights.
3) The passengers on board the aircraft leaving the airport of departure before the entry into force of this notification will be subject to 14-day quarantine under the contagious disease law and the regulations under Section 9 of the Emergency Decree on Public Administration in Emergency Situations B.E. 2548 (2005).
