Ahmedabad, 15th March, 2013 - THAI Airways is launching a new service THAI SMILE, a sub brand of THAI Airways, with a brand new fleet of Airbus-320 will operate twice a week non-stop flights every Wednesday & Sunday from Ahmedabad to Bangkok effective 31Mar’13. The direct flight departure Ahmedabad at 2359 hours and arrive early morning 0620 hours into Bangkok while the return flight will depart Bangkok at 1930 hours and arrive into Ahmedabad at 2300 hours. It will definitely save travelling time and cost of the businessman especially exhibitors of Gujarat who are visiting Thailand. Thailand is fast emerging a hot destination for honeymooners, Lesire, MICE (Meeting Incentive Conference and Exhibition) and wedding activities while Gujarat is becoming a global business hub with increased frequency of businessmen flying abroad, not only facilitate the outbound traveller from Gujarat to other parts of the world via Bangkok but also help develop inbound traffic into Gujarat.
